Οι Tenderloud σχηματίστηκαν στην Κοπεγχάγη το 1999. Η πρώτη κυκλοφορία τους ήταν ένα EP με τίτλο ”4 track”. Ο πρώτος μεγάλος δίσκος τους ήρθε το 2004 με το άλμπουμ ”Shadow Red Hand” στο οποίο περιέχεται και το σημερινό τραγούδι.
Είχαν μια σύντομη διάλυση μετά την κυκλοφορία του συγκεκριμένου δίσκου. Η μη ξεκάθαρη στάση των μελών και πολλά ανείπωτα λόγια οδήγησαν σε αυτήν.
Όταν ρωτήθηκε σε πρόσφατη συνέντευξή του ο πρώην μάνατζερ του συγκροτήματος, Martin Jensen, για την φήμη που απέκτησε το τραγούδι στην Ελλάδα απάντησε:
” Το γνωρίζουμε πως έγινε δημοφιλές χάρη σε τηλεοπτική σειρά. Το βρήκαμε και στο YouTube. Το συγκεκριμένο τραγούδι έχει μια ξεχωριστή θέση στην καρδιά μου. Οι στίχοι προέκυψαν πρώτα. Σε μισή ώρα από την στιγμή που έπιασα το μολύβι το είχα τελειώσει.”
